Crab Salad

Sometimes (often) I see things I’ve never seen before. As a mature person that’s quite exciting 🤩 I love it when I find something I’ve never seen in a shop, an old house, a persons house, or just out there, in the wild, as I call it...(Miranda voice)

A huge tree stump at the old homestead. Big enough for a hobbit house

It’s the coolest thing to know there are still things to discover, to learn & people to meet. Things to experience in life there are many, & I’m super thankful for being able to do the simple things like a load of laundry, put out my rubbish or vacuum my home, at someone’s place.

We take so much for granted in life, & our works can become so small. I’m thankful I can broaden my horizon’s& check out as much of my world as possible, while I still can.

I’m currently exploring bike options, to increase that even further, as I gain movement & strength again.

It’s an exciting time of life, to be able to kick back & relax a little. Pass the sunscreen would you.

It’s also a little concerning with the latest Covid outbreaks. I’m so hoping we won’t go back into a level four lockdown.

I’ll still be allowed to dump waste, shop & fill to keep my lifestyle going, but not travelling & connecting would be hard, on all of us who live isolated lives, apart from the internet.

One thing I’ve learned is that the internet & all its platforms is very one dimensional. We aren’t whole unless we live in community with others, who rub off our pointy bits & help us grow. Being reachable & open to being vulnerable is key.

Sending you all care as we walk forward into our tomorrow, whatever that looks like.

  1. It is sad that we can be dominated by technology, but without it, communication would be difficult and isolation inevitable.
