Sunrises & Sunsets

 I love staying at the beach! I was posting sunrise & sunset pics, but thought you’d all get sick of seeing them. 



But today I realized that every day they’re different. 



The differences are subtle, but if you watch them develop, they all have different color variations & patterns of behavior, for want of a better phrase. 



Sooooo I’ll post them here 😊

It’s amazing how the day dawns. I love being up for it! 🥰
And now I’ve learned how to get the pics on, & in order, the posts should make more sense, & be more enjoyable 😊 This was the view from my door this morning at Ariki Reserve, Snells Beach. I’ll always post the location after I leave, for safety 😉

 When I lived in Taupo many moons ago, I used to drive past this village on my way north or south. It’s set back of the road, so it’s not very visible. Today I decided to stop in for a looksee, to see what I could see. It was like stepping back in time, where time is relative & the schedule starts when  the residents get up. A wee peep, looking for shot guns 😂  A school in times past? A shop of some kind Another shop with the local garage beside it, perhaps One of many houses like this Abigail hall or something similar Chickens 😍  Baby chicks 😍 Back in the days when... A Sad Day

Today I advertised Steamin Along for sale. It took me hours to manually put in all the details & I had a lot of trouble adding the photos to the ad. I’m not sure why but Trademe would only let me upload a few & I can’t find a way to edit it. I’m wondering if it’s because it’s listed as a classified ad rather than an auction.  https://www.trademe.co.nz/trade-me-motors/caravans-motorhomes/motorhomes/5-59-metres/auction-3250669219.htm Anyone who knows the answer gets a cyber chocolate fish. Anyhow I consoled myself with a walk at lunchtime…very bad idea when you walk past a bakery 😂 So I bought the equivalent of a sally lunn bun, now called a Boston bun because of the shape I’m told. It’s a childhood memory for me, of a special treat we had as a family from time to time. No idea of the sized pieces a family of 9 would get 😂 but I bet it wasn’t much. I’ve been distracting myself by watching videos about cookies you can make, diy van kits, & all sorts of other nonsense 😂 ...

Getting up close & personal

 Today’s the day! Such a surprise to me when my son told me he was willing & had time to apply the wonderful sign to my truck, made for me by Cairns Printing in Australia.  Jasmine nailed the brief I had given her & went above & beyond what I had asked for. In person, if I can call it that, the sign is fantastic! I’m thrilled to bits with it 🤩 The colours are great, the size is perfect & the layers make it look 3D. It represents the fact that I’m a steampunk. Anyway, enough with the chat, let’s get to the pics! I know you’ve all been waiting patiently for this moment. Now that you’ve perfected that skill, as have I, without further ado, the procedure, as recorded by my grandson. My daughter in law helped with the installation as well. These guys are such a blessing to my life!  Beginning cleaning the area. Had to be pristine. That part took about an hour.
